TERRITORY AND STORY

Corte Buona means passion for Italian food;
an ancient story of craftmanship
and conviviality that takes its origin
in Italy.

Traditional Italian charcuterie, since 1962

Under the name Italia Alimentari Spa and controlled by the Cremonini Group, a worldwide leader in the production and distribution of meat, the company owns six plants, two abroad and the remaining ones located in strategic areas for the production of PDO and PGI products in Italy.

In Busseto, in the province of Parma, the humid climate and the winter fog create the ideal conditions for maturing the deli meats typical of this area. Local inhabitants have always exploited the environmental conditions of this land for preserving pork all year round. This is where Culatello di Zibello PDO, Coppa di Parma PGI, Mortadella Bologna PGI were born. Lombardy is a middle area, which is ideal for logistics. In Valtellina, in Postalesio, the fresh mountain air from the valleys permits the production and maturation of Bresaola della Valtellina PGI. In Calabria, instead, the Mediterranean breeze meets the freshness of the Sila mountains giving rise to the ideal environment for maturing Calabrian deli meat specialties.

Last but not least Brampton (Toronto) and Woodbridge: these plants have recently started to serve together the North American market.

The Corte Buona plant in Woodbridge serve as the bridge where the best Italian charcuterie are sliced and distributed throughout the US market.
